I know you continue to have problems with it, but I love these episodes a lot. I think it's good that the show gave us an example of Kuripika's plan working against a straightforward foe before throwing him against someone more complicated, and I think explaining Kurapika's powers by demonstration is vastly preferable to the lectures used in the last arc. This is where the show really picked up for me, personally.

2026-01-07 16:42:00 +0000 UTCKurapika is above average, but if he fought someone on Uvo's level that was unrelated to the Phantom Troupe he would be at a huge disadvantage. Kurapika's whole life has been about eliminating the spiders, and Nen power is intertwined with resolve, which Kurapika has in spades. Also, I don't know if you caught it, but Kurapika prefers to fight one on one. He'd be at a disadvantage against multiple spiders at once. Don't worry, there's still a lot that our boys don't know yet and I'll think that you'll get that satisfaction of growth that you crave.
