Glad you're enjoying the show. Just like with Steins Gate, its okay to be confused. Clues are left here and there on what the big picture is.. but answers won't be truly revealed until season 2 which I hope to sponser as well. So just enjoy the crazy confusing ride for season 1 lol. One small thing to point out with this episode. The scene with Keiichi and Oiishi (detective) at the Angel Mort cafe is not in their village Hinamizawa, but is the neighbour town Okinomiya. In the visual novel, its described as being an hour bike ride from the village. Just something to clarify.
