Originally I intended to have it out for Halloween 2023 but realized I'd accidentally decided to make a feature length animated film by myself. It ended up taking slightly longer than I had planned, but I'm making a lot of progress and will hopefully be able to release it in October 2024 instead!

In film school my buddy and I once talked about building an automatic "zolly" rig like that and then making it go in and out repeatedly on a character's face to get a psychedelic trip effect. We never acheived it, but now I definitely gotta watch Severance

That's a dolly-zoom effect, synthetically created. Very effective, conveys the moment perfectly by exploiting the way faces change in thse shots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5Rbd-3yDiw The project looks awesome, can't wait to see more
