- Here's a rough sketch of page thirty-one. What I wanted was the cassette tape to go inside the cassette player in a really epic way. While sketching I thought of a sequence of worms eye view, to straight ahead the finally a birds eye view of the same image.
- After sketching I got to work detailing all three panels. For the backkgrounds I mostly used a white background with verious manga textures, for detailing I used as 3D rectangle and rotated it slightly to fit the angles I wanted. For the cassette player I copied the angle and used references of a cassette player to get a direct idea of what needed to draw.
- After completing the detailed objects I added the cassette tape texture I was looking for to add for the two panels that show the tape.
- This is the final results for inking this page. After inking I decided to experiment with the motion in comics by using tones. For the middle panel I used a circular ruler for the middle and bottom panel so emulate motion, then I copied the section inside the circle so that I could tone it, just to push that idea of movement.
- This is the finished results of page thirty- one. After completing both pages I added some extra bits for the top and middle panels, then I added the words and sound effects.
