A-Star Heroes - Working progress - Page twenty-three/twenty-four

- Here's the original sketches for pages twenty-three and twenty-four. What I wanted was the main heroes to commfront the bully. They pose and spat insults at eachother until it turn serious for the bully.

- Here's the rough designs and poses for pages twenty-three and twenty-four. While detailing I ended up splitting the bottom panels so that I could add a some power ranger inspired poses. After roughing out the poses I started whiting out the backgrounds and even added some 3D and manga textured backgrounds.

- Here's the finished results for the detailed poses and the finished backgrounds. At that moment in time I wanted to try and create my own textures using brush strokes with pens I downloaded from the clip studio assests and I wanted to see what it these pens and brushes would be like.

- After cleaning up the poses I inked each panel using the binarizing technique for all the panels. I ended up removing some small details like some of the faces, the skirt for the bottom left panel and whiting out some parts so that I could add them later on a different layer. 

- This is the finished results for page twenty three. 

- Since page twenty three was completed I started detailing page twenty-four. After finishing off detailing all three panels I ended up inking the bottom right panel first, since it was only one charcter in that panel and it was easy to complete. For the backgrounds I copied a background I used previously for the top panel, the bottom left panel I added a manga material and for the right bottom panel I used the brushes once more and this time I wanted to create the shape of one of the monster, Mr Clocksworth. After inking and toning I worded each page and then it was ready to be exported.
