A-Star Heroes - Working progress - Page twenty-one/twenty-two

- Here's a semi rough sketch of pages twenty-one and twenty-two. For these pages I wanted the two heroes to spring into action and save another student who's being bullied by one of the bully characters. While sketching I decided to reuse the pose for the top panel of page twenty one so that I would have a rough idea of what I wanted. Then I decided to work on the backgrounds for the middle panel, then the top panel of page twenty-two.

- After sketching I created some rough poses for each panel. While detailing I changed a lot from what I sketched, for example: For page twenty one I wanted the heroes to be in the panel but instead they're somewhat out of the panel, for the bottom left panel on page twenty-two I wanted to mess around with the perspective of the two characters. 

- These are the finished results of the finalised details of page twenty-two. Afterwards I ended up outlining the bottom right panel because it was the easiest panel to finish off. At that moment in time I was very experimental with using lines to create depth and stronger shadows. 

- After inking all the panels I toned and textured each panel, then I copied some of the assets for the jacket of the bully and warped them so that it would fit the jacket. 

-After finishing off page twenty-two I began detailing the bottom and middle panels of page twenty-one, while detailing the two panels I ended up finishing off the top panel due to it's easy line work and simple shading and toning. 

- While detailing I ended up binarizing the two poses, adding the hands for one of the poses and cleaning up the other. The only reason why I made the outlines red so that I could see the imperfections and see what I could correct.  

- After cleaning up the bottom panel I ended up outlining the middle panel as simply as I could. Then I toned the middle panel and toned the top panel of page twenty two. After completing both pages I worded each panel and it was finished and ready to be exported.
