Meet Zale, a former rookie investigator who once worked for The Dragon-Surveyors Organization (DSO), a government agency dedicated to monitoring and combating draconic crime. One fateful day, Zale and two of his squad-mates were assigned to investigate a rumored area known for illegal dragon activity. To his horror, Zale's squad-mates callously murdered a group of innocent Drakas, a race of people with draconic powers and features such as Ddraig, Bi-an, and Tiamat.

In a shocking turn of events, Zale was betrayed and killed by his own squad-mates in an attempt to cover up their heinous crime. However, fate intervened when Zale found himself near a powerful draconic relic containing the Reflection of Jormungandr. Through this relic, Zale was resurrected, now walking a fine line between the worlds of humans and dragons.
