random fact: zico is good friends with d.o from exo. they also went on a reality show together and d.o even filmed a tiktok for a boy group zico recently debuted. which is funny because d.o doesnt do tiktok or social media in general :') so i don't know how he conviced him to do it haha. they are a bit of an unexpected duo ig lol

Back then around 2012 groups like Block B, B.A.P, VIXX, EXO, B1A4 etc who debuted around that time were everywhere man I miss those times! Zico has always been impressive for working so hard even with his medical conditions, as far as I know he has asthma and he also has some heart issues which he had surgery for as a kid but I don't know if and how those still impact him. Yeah he was a judge on SMTM. With his background in the underground hip-hop scene he maintained his reputation in the scene while also achieving mainstream success. He mentions Song Mino here, he was also active in the underground scene and there he met Zico and P.O and later trained with them to debut together in Block B but it didn't work out. Mino was the runner-up on SMTM4 in 2012 where he was on Zico's team. Now don't let Zico fool you lol, he can sing like an angel. Check out songs like "she's a baby" to see for yourself :)

Zico and Mino also has one of my favorite songs to come out of SMTM "Okey Dokey". Zico also has his own Company KOZ which was acquired by Hybe before his enlistment. KOZ also debuted their boy group Boys Next Door today. I can't remember if you'll have reacted to it yet but 911 Remix had I thing 50 K rappers on the track.
