Might be coz Im from Asia and a number of Asian countries have military conscription in some form so used to it). This year tho, I thought it's a better idea to go based on public/personal factors. Now that they've gotten too big as Korea's cultural representatives.. it's better to go with public sentiments in mind. Personal factor wise (post festa), I felt they are ready for this experience and move to another stage of life. No group can remain on top forever and they have been tirelessly working for past 9 years plus the added pressure of rep Korea.. With the military service, they can finally shed some of that burden and post-service, work at a slower pace more benefiting their artistic journey/life choices.

2022-12-18 05:01:50 +0000 UTCThere's so much to go over, but up... to start. Never listen to 'ALLKPOP' they're horrible and known to easily be bought by certain companies to run certain articles. Anyway... DKDKTV usually give their own experiences and things, but even they can exaggerate things. Since 2014 hazing in the military has been cracked down on, the military instilled special task force to keep an eye on new soldiers. Now, this task force is not found at the training facilities. As 5 weeks of training, you're watched heavily anyway during those 5 weeks. Jin is not being stationed at/on the front lines, he is currently in a place referred to as the 'front line facility' it's the training base near the front lines base. He will not be given his location of where he will be station at till he comes back from his time with family- After the 5 weeks of training, they get to go home for about a week to spend with family before they come back and get given the location they will be stationed at. So if you read anything about him being stationed at a place.. do not believe it cause he has not been given those orders yet. As mentioned about the creepy shit that can and has happened to certain idols- it is still a rare occurrence, and once caught those who do those things are held accountable. Now, I will say.. some of the G-Dragon stuff was blown way out of reality and more claims of things came out over what happened to him. Yet the only facts that were made public were that someone in his troupe was taking pics and sharing them, and another guy tried to steal his underwear thinking he could make money off of it. They also looked at his measurements charts and revealed all that information, as well as any markings people might not know about. Those were the only things proven which are still pretty damn bad. But it was handled, nothing much can be done about idiots trying to make money off of someone who's known to have influence in most Asian countries. So yes, it's possible Jin might get someone like that in his troupe, for right now in his training troupe, he should have no problems at all. They'll all be too busy to even be bothered, it all depends where he's placed after. Which we won't know until we get notice from HYBE, BigHit Music, or Jin himself. It was confirmed that all of them will be done with their military service by 2025, Joon mentioned he hoped they could come back healthy and be back together as BTS then. Some people mistakenly took that as BTS might not be back in 2025. They will be, we might not get an album in 2025, it depends on when they all get out, if it's late 2025 there might not be enough time to put together an album. Jin, will be done with his 18 months in 2024, Sometime in May is when he'll get out. The 6 others will need to enlist by the end of 2023 in order for all them to be out by 2025. Technically, someone could join in Jan or Feb of 2024 and still be out late 2025, but that's pushing it. So I'm pretty sure all of them will go by the end of 2023, next year. Yoongi might not have to serve/might be serving by other means if his shoulder is an issue. Even though he's healed, the military might see it as a problem and a risk. We won't know for sure until that is made public/when Yoongi goes. They won't be going in the order they normally would have gone in-by age, they're going in whatever order they decide. Yoongi does have to go by end of March of 2023 though. But if Joon decides to go in January, ahead of him, he can. Or even hobi could go right after his birthday in Feb. They have all that planned though and we won't know till they announce it. Only trust HYBE/BigHit Music and the members themselves. As for Bang making his rounds- He's worked with Seventeen before. He's not CEO anymore because he wanted the time to work with the new artists being brought in. And time to seek new talent too. He's worked with Le Sserafim, with ENHYPEN, and TXT. He'll most likely work with New Jeans and &Team when he can as well. He makes the rounds, he likes making music and working with all these groups to make sure that they're being heard in their music and he helps them in the process of writing and producing. Even though Seventeen does their own thing and they're very good at it, they all know there's still more to gain from spending time with BangPD in the studio. He wasn't given the nickname of 'Hitman' for no reason lol. Thanks for watching this and giving your thoughts. I understand some people's worry for Jin and the others but I don't think we need to worry as much as many are. I see how K-ARMYs are handling this and they're mostly proud and keeping themselves busy, having parties to celebrate Jin and just continuing to support all of them. 2022-12-17 02:32:28 +0000 UTCI know they were holding back and try to be as cheerful as possible for us as fans and also for Jin but you can see on their eyes that they were crying, Jk was very quite and calm...he and Jin that are too close, I can't imagine how much he miss Seokjin and so the rest of the guys...been Jin and Suga my two biased this was hard to watch but just like you said guys he is serving his country and I am proud of him for that, he is doing what he has to do, they had an easy way out to all this by taking advantage of a possible exemption but they never accepted, they are plenty aware of the double edge sword that would mean for them if they accept it, I am so proud of our boys, they'll be back safe to us, I know that!

You might have not seen it a lot, but its very much there, The south Korean government has been postponing their decision to give BTS an exemption for literal Years, they decided to exempt their football team (who have never one a single world cup and even the members of the team who don't even play on the field get exepmted) yet they can't decide to exempt the biggest thing to ever come out of their country, they also used to exempt people who had received A Cultural Merit Award, BTS were the youngest recpients of the medal and yet when BTS received the award they decided to change their rule and no linger exempt people who earned one. This has never been fair and it never will be, I suggest you do more research, also not to mention even when they're doing their military service the government said they still want BTS to perform at events, meaning they don't give them an exemption but they still want them working for their country and bringing money into their economy, do you know how tiring and straining its going to be still doing performances on top of military service? And the SK government supposedly said they were going to keep each member SAFE, but it was confirmed a couple days ago that they were bringing Jin to the front lines and sending him to the North Korean border, they have never done that to any Korean Artists before, so yeah "no exemption thing is understandable" my ass

On a separate note, You dont tend to react to vlives or weverse lives much, so I dont recall if you saw Jins 'The Astronaut' live the same night he performed with Chris/Coldplay in Argentina. He said a lot, and I mean a lot, before he performed that night about his feelings on everything. including enlistment, around the end of the live. He was indeed planning on leaving years ago, but the pandemic and their success delayed things (*cough* jin admitting AGAIN to his long term depression aka his song "Abyss" *cough*). Thats why the bts law that the government passed right before Jins birthday holds a lot of meaning, its not just idols going to the army, or even just a regular person going to the army and going back- the Busan concert, the world expo, the current korean president and the new president, the department of defense also making it public they would make a decision on Bts before Jins birthday- not anyone else, but Jin specifically and his birthday. The politics in this is crazy, I even saw they were selling gold and silver bts medals/currency literally yesterday, 3000 for a medal and its sold out, all the videos being released with the guys promoting coming to korea, representing what the country offers? Its interesting to say the least. knowing what Jin stands for though, and the fact that he was taking all of this (the questions, the pressure, the demands) since he was 24-25 and it got worse when he was 28? No I'm not surprised that he was going to go, even though he was asked to stay longer (as said in his live) Exemption, their chances for it or no, I will always see and remind people he never asked for anything for himself. korean media even brought this up on different programs that he *could* have made a request and been backed up but never did- and to them, that's honorable. There's a reason he's being talked about globally for his decision. again though, Jin revealed his feelings during the vlive and was very candid, very honest, it was both relieving to see him open up, but almost angering to see how much he was silenced about it to the point you could tell even he was fed up at that point and didn't care, he was going to be honest anyway. but thats another topic for another day. I'm glad the fandom got to get their ot7 pic, and the army bomb video, it was expected they would be there to see him and good to see a goodbye. Jin has a lot he's given the world and I know, whether or not anyone believes theres a God, that he will return safely and his mind and soul will only grow more beautiful because that's who he is and always has been no matter how different people may percieve him. He's really inspiring, and at the end of the day he belongs to himself, he will return an even better and even stronger and even more amazing person- music is never off the table for him, honing his talents is something he's set on doing no matter where he is, he's even mentioned he will return to us *with* music, nothing is going to break Jin, ever. Like others have said he seems like the closest to jin , but also jk is a very sensitive soul so I can see why it looked like it hit him the most. I also have a feeling the 95ers and jk will enter together but thats just my feelings. At first I was more proud then sad but the more I've watched this and seeing the members yeah a little sadness creeped in. My brother served in the Canadian Army so I can understand sending on off to serve its a proud day but a sad day too. Anyway thanks to all who have served and thanks to jin as well who is seving his country . He will be missed but look forward to them all reuniting.
