If y'all are interested in more like this where they heard the demo first & gave their thoughts from first listen, do Sticker & Glitch Mode as far as I know those are the only other two songs that we get to see that as well. Another fun uncut y'all should react to is Amino Acid. It's a song Taeyong fully wrote, he assigned the parts for the 127 members, guided them trough out the song while they were recording it, & helped the producers choose the structure of the song, he was involved in the whole process. It was soo fun & admiring to see Taeyong fully lead a song he wrote for the whole group & not just his own. The only thing with that song it's something he wrote for a Trip/Variety content they did so to get to the behind the scenes of that you would have to search up Analog Trip NCT 127 ep 8 and skip until 7:50 when he starts the song process. 2022-07-06 05:31:33 +0000 UTCThere’s a couple interviews online of artists who’ve produced for SM, but a lot of the songs come from their workshops/producing camps. The process is generally super collaborative and the original producers sort of give up their say on what the final product is. They come together and make beats then the demos get sort of shelved until they get fit to a group or comeback concept. Then SM would contact the creators and negotiate buying the rights/ask for changes to adapt it to the project. Depending on the group at this point the artists will also have some feedback too but it’s really out of the original creators’ hands at this point. Of the producers that have spoken about the process, they’ve never had bad feelings about having their song changed cause that’s just normal in music production when an artist or label buys out your song. This also changes according to artists. Some are more self-produced, some more collaborative, etc. etc. but I would say 70% - 80% of SM title tracks have come out of these creative workshops.
