I watch a lot of other artists, just not really other kpop ones unless you want to count IU and Epic High as Kpop. I like many TXT songs though. Other great artists are Rina Sawayama (please watch STFU! even if you want to stick to reacting to Kpop, you should watch it on your own) and more obscure artists. I just like quality music and for me, most kpop is not quality music 😬

Hey there! I just want to chime in on watching other groups. I’ve looked at a few groups here and there, but I could never get into them. Not like BTS. It’s not that way with everyone, but personally for me. The amount of work and freebies they put in for ARMYs is unmatched. While a lot of merch is expensive, they have a lot of free content. Besides the genres BTS music has is just incredible. And ARMYs come from all backgrounds. Even musical ones. I have a friend who’s listens to mostly show tunes and BTS. Other friends were into rock, and my taste is pop. I am a casual listener to other artists. That’s about it. The passion and love BTS invokes is like no other. I had a friend introduce me to K-pop in high school. I didn’t really get into it since I believed my boy and phase ended with *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. But BTS really came in and and changed that view . It took a while though. There is so much music that they have. It took about a a year before I called myself ARMY. I knew I was one as soon as I bought my first album since middle school. I know you guys have seen a lot of hardship videos, but unless people are ARMY on the front lines, that emotional connection to just them might be missing. Since they are the poster children for K-pop, that means the hits come for them. There is nothing worse than every time BTS has a high, all kinds of people from different professions come out of the woodwork for them. ARMY and BTS have been through a lot together. So to many people, it just seems like we have tunnel vision for BTS, but it’s just that our bond is so strong. There’s no connection that I have ever seen from fans to artists. As a matter of fact, it’s an ARMY rule to not bug them if they have personal days, just due to the fact of how much they show us of their lives. There’s honestly so much more I could go on anout, but I’ll stop here!

Did not meant to make a weird take is just that just a couple days ago I saw this video from from group of reactors about the Joe burden situation, I saw the channel grown mostly thanks to army and stopped to watch when the artist they reacted to was not my interest, their interest switched with is fair, and I did not think of it no more. I was curious about the debate so I watched it and then the grammy convo started, and the " sk, nct should be invited, they worked harder" and the subtle shade to bts really pissed me of, a grammy conversarion and kpop wouldn't even be possible if wasn't for bts but it happens often. I don't get it. You can think a group makes better music but why is always bts the one constantly being downplayed? OK. I'm done sorry, I just wanted to explain the reasoning behind my comment.

So I call myself an ARMY 💯 and Im excited to watch anything beyond the music when it comes to BTS but I’m also a casual listener to other groups and soloist. If the music is good then it’s good I will add it to my playlist and listen to it until I get tired of the song. That’s why I would watch your other mv reactions to other groups cuz what if I end up liking the song ? But would I be more invested on getting to know the group ? Nope I just don’t have the interest to do so I would rather spend that time catching up on other BTS content that I haven’t seen.You guys are reactors so it’s cool that you guys are multis since you guys could cater to the other fandoms out there and I’ve discovered new music that I wouldn’t have discovered if it weren’t for you guys and always like the honesty.

have to admit I didn't expect this reaction LOL, maybe this can be the beginning of a beautiful and entertaining trip through the rest of Bangtan Bombs? I have my fingers crossed so then can became a reality, about what Jerrick mentioned is appreciated the challenge and in my case I am into kpop since 2013 and I've listened to other groups and artists in and outside kpop, I am multifandom BUT the only ones that really stole my heart for complete were BTS and 2NE1, period..on the other hand normally within ARMY fandom I can tell you there is a big portion of it full focus on just BTS content..even myself been multifandom I am just focus on them, the other portion that is more open to hear other type of music is less in comparisong to the ones are into full BTS content, this is the perception I got in the time I have to be an ARMY, if I am wrong please correct me... thank you guys for the reaction!

I do listen to other groups and there are certain songs I like and am a fan of some other groups. Sometimes I watch your reactions to other groups but still watch mostly BTS. I will check out more Dreamcatcher and Ateez. I really want to hear other groups' whole discography to see if I like the majority of their music. I wish I had run into you guys on 4/16/22 at the concert but no luck😪. Maybe next time!

This is still one of my favorite Bangtan Bombs. The choreo they were playing with- is because this was from a KBS show performance... I get why it might not have been recomended because the camera... well this was early in their career and this performace was one of many that was filmed horribly, and we can see the differences because this was for a 3 group special performance. It was 2pm, VIXX, and BTS(the rookies) It's a good performance, and does show the bias these broadcasters kind of had. The other two groups did good, 2PM are good, and VIXX is good too So I will leave the link here to the full performance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaE4F8R9Hag BTS performs first, then VIXX joins them and does their performance, then 2pm joins and then does their performance and then all of them come together at the end for a final performance together. I've been into Kpop since I was little, I don't only listen to BTS and I agree that sometimes, unless you're listening to others, you maybe shouldn't speak about those others. If I don't know a group, then I learn about them before I form an opinion. But that's just me. Anyway thank you so much for the content drop. Luv you guys💜

First: I can't believe you react to this! This is one of my favourite bangtan bomb, the song is catchy and their random. About react/discover another artist i listen to other groups too not at bts extension but if I like a song I'll add it to my playlist. My only concern is that I've been here since the beggining of the wave of kpop reactions, I've seen many reactors goes from love bts to shade them the moment they like another group more, like I get it each one has its own taste in music but for some reason often when this reactors become stans of other groups ( usually nct or stray kids) the bts shade start. There is always this bitterness whe it comes to bts an i don't get it. Is always the " they deserve what bts has" like it was handed to them and not hard work from then and army. It does not help that a lot of nct stans are old exols and half stray kids fandom is ex army. I don't watch any other reactors so I enjoy what you put out, the music I like no matter the group I will watch it only hope you don't turn out like many others

Just picking up on your discussion about Army being more vocal about supporting their group, and Jerrick’s challenge to branch out. I love that you’re all multi-stans. I like some of the other k-pop groups (Ateez, Mamamoo etc) and I’ve been meaning to try Dreamcatcher since I like rock music. But I only really watch your BTS reactions, because it’s an issue of time. There’s only so much disposable time (after work, parenting, social life etc) to spend on watching videos, so if I have spare time I want to spend it catching up on BTS’s own content (I haven’t finished the Run episodes or Bon Voyage for example) and reactors’ content about BTS. But I’ll check out some dreamcatcher for Jerrick (& Lo!) this weekend.

Ahh I really loved the ending discussion and wanna give big props to Jerrick for giving people a little encouragement with that challenge!! It's a beautiful thing to explore and find new artists that may end up changing your life. Look at how it worked out for all of us ARMY that found BTS! Even if you don't end up as a "stan" you never knew what doors it could open. I agree with everything you guys said about your growth since the beginning of the channel and I'm extremely happy you have gotten this far and were able to foster this community. I hope you guys get to go to lots of concerts and meet redeemers from plenty of fandoms! Damn, I wish I was able to go to the Stray Kids concert, lmao. I would love to chop it up with y'all.
