Once in a while you might get a reporter from KBS who will refer to the 'Big 3' but it's not as common as it once was- that was my point. I won't touch on SM's album sales since I have not seen the year end totals yet. But thank you. 💜

They also are referred to the Big 3….not because of sales…but because of the impact each of those labels made on kpop from the beginning. They will always be known as the big 3. ❤️

Usually you have enough reactors where at least one person has not seen/heard the music. But also, I’m here more for the conversations afterward. And it helps when there are times like this where Lo brought the song, but then was also able to give you some information right away, bc he had already heard the song and knew what was up.

2022-01-02 23:36:38 +0000 UTCThink of BoA as the Cinderella of SM. Cinderella saved Disney, and BoA saved SM. She debuted in 2000, and has been a strong performer from the start. As Lo said, she wasn't even looking to audition with SM. She was just being a supportive little sister to her big brother and BAM. But that kind of thing does happen. What was most appealing to SM about her- was that she was multi-lingual from the time they met her. She could speak English, Japanese, and Mandarin on top of her natural Korean speaking ability. She was pretty quick to find success too. Aside from BoA, another woman who has been given the time of Queen of K-Pop - Lee Hyori. Even though there was the 'Big 3' Since HYBE has come into it's own, they don't really use that term anymore because HYBE is bigger than all 3 of them. Even SK Media no longer calls them 'Big 3'. Which was amazing to not hear that for a lot of SK locals Yes, SM is longest running/operating Entertainment company for Idols/K-pop.... there's a lot to be talked about, that could be talked about... that I'd love to rant about, but I'm not big on negativity and it's a new year. So, I won't be delving into that monster. But if you guys ever to talk about it... I'll be the longest comment most likely. lol I look forward to more BoA content, she's great. I used to dance around to 'Energetic' and 'Eat You Up' off her English album- released in 2009. My favorite albums are hers were- Japanese album- 'Listen to my heart' And Korean Album- 'Girls On Top' Those are just my personal favorites from her. Thanks again 💜💜
