Lost in You v0.2 progress update #3

Hello again!

In today's update we'll be introducing a "new" character: Kurumi! And I say "new" in quotes because well... she's already shown up in a Yokubo event once.

Starting from v0.2, you'll be able to chat with Kurumi at the local library on weekend mornings. She's not much of a fan of you at first but surely she'll warm up to you as you spend more time with her, right...? No one can resist our lovely protagonist after all, especially with how charming he is.

Kurumi is the best friend of the shy, green-haired Yokubo and will do everything in her power to prevent any harm from falling upon her friend. Her favourite pastime is reading, which absolutely no one could've seen coming based on the preview above. She doesn't seem too fond of boys and is sure to let you know all about it. It's not immediately clear where her aversion towards men comes from, but as you get to know her better she might just open up about it a little more.

New render record!

V0.2 has now officially exceeded the 303 renders from the initial v0.1 release. At the time of writing, there are 418 new renders and more are yet to come. We've also got a new event that takes the render count crown away from Saki's event that was mentioned in progress update #2. Yume is back with more shenanigans in her second event featuring 33 renders total. This new event will shed some light on what exactly her deal is by giving you the first pieces of the puzzle that is Yume's motivations.

Speaking of Yume

I've completed the rewrite for her "Encounter" event. This new version of the event changes the tone drastically whilst retaining the original goal I had in mind. As I had mentioned in the first progress update, you won't be required to play through it again. If you wish to experience the new version of events you can start a new game or you can use the replay feature by going to Yume's character menu and clicking on "Encounter".

What's next?

As usual, the next progress update will be posted in roughly 2 weeks' time. Update #4 will reveal who the last character we will be focusing on in v0.2 is. I should also have an estimated release date by then, so look forward to that!
