Lost in You v0.2 progress update #2

Hi!

Earlier today I finished up the last dorm room event I wanted to get done before posting a new update (which is not to say this will be the only dorm room content in v0.2) and here's a little preview of it. Currently, there are 3 girls you'll be able to visit in their respective dorm rooms:

• Nami
• Saki
• Yui

To absolutely no one's surprise, Yui has moved into the dorms after she was teased as being Nami's future roommate in v0.1. Unfortunately for Saki, she too is lacking a roommate at the moment. But fret not little redhead, you won't be alone for long.

How is the update coming along?

Progress on v0.2 is steady, here are some numbers:

• Roughly 8,000 words
• 205 renders
• 4 main story events (this hasn't changed from v0.2 update #1)
• 1 Hina event (+ 1 repeatable event)
• 2 Nami events (+ 2 repeatable events)
• 2 Saki events (+ 2 repeatable events)
• 2 Yui events (+ 2 repeatable events)

As was the case with the update from 2 weeks ago, the render count to event number ratio has increased drastically. Saki's latest event has a total of 29 renders, making it the (for now) event with the most amount of renders. Yui's latest event comes in a close second with 28 renders.

About event requirements

As I mentioned in the first progress update, I was going to take a look at altering some event requirements. For the time being, I've adjusted the requirements for the following events:

• Pyjama party (Yui)
• Queen of awkward conversation (Yokubo)
• Your hand in marriage (Nami)

With the added new content I feel the flow of the game has improved drastically with these relatively minor changes. Once I get closer to dropping the v0.2 release for patrons I'll have another look at the event requirements to see if there are any more adjustments that need to be done. The 3 events in question were the ones that required the most grinding, having to repeat an event 3-4 times to be able to trigger them. As it stands, you'll have to go through a repeatable event just once, or just plain not at all to trigger any of the currently implemented events. For future content, I plan to keep the amount of unnecessary repeating of events to a minimum (you're free to grind points as much as you'd like though).

What now?

I'm going to take a short break from working on dorm-related stuff to give some attention to the newest addition to the cast: Kurumi. She'll be padding up the weekend mornings. More details on what to expect from her and her events will follow in the next progress update.

I'm also looking to provide some more stuff to do in the afternoon, as currently the only locations you can visit are the beach and the pool. And while I love me some cute girls in swimsuits, a little variety would be welcome.
