I've saw from other painters that you can create a value sketch taking a picture of the mini on black primer and use that as a reference for the direction of the light. The problem is, the texture of the materials change depending of the reflectiveness. So is important to keep in mind! I also liked a lot the new format, short and to te point. I understand that takes more time to create, but are more useful, thanks for sharing !!!
