Added 2024-11-08 01:19:13 +0000 UTCOk so many people are getting their keys through the link I sent, but some are not. If you are not, here's what you should do:
Do you have an itch account? If not, you will need to make one
Are you signed into your itch account? If not, try signing in.
Is the email address associated with your itch account the same as the one associated with you patreon And the upper/lower case letters match in both emails?If not, fuck. Something has gone wrong. Plz reply to this post so i can see how many people this issue is affecting.

EDIT: it appears that the emails are case sensitive. The capitalization of your email addresses need to match in both places.
Also note: This method of key distribution is Not using patreon/itch integration. If you have patreon/itch integration working , you still need to check that the emails match and have the same upper and lowercase letters.
ANOTHER EDIT: People seem to be having success adding their patreon email as an alternative email on itch instead of switching it outright.

Hi, I have my email the same on both platforms, including capitalization. Still says I do not have a code available. :( EDIT: Nevermind, I apparently had never verified my email on itch, LOL!

I saved the change on Patreon and it decided I did nothing and re-uppercased it, and on Itch it says someone has already claimed the uppercase one.. which is me with the lowercase one. how am I supposed to fix it? Do I need to contact support x.x

2024-11-11 22:55:29 +0000 UTCFWIW I got my key after adding the Patreon email to my itch account as a secondary. Not entirely happy - I use a single-use email thing so l don't like to share those between services - but it's _fine_, it's not really all that important, and I got the key.

Go to your mismatched email and insert a + before the @ symbol, then insert some text (like the name of the website eg anyone+patreon@gmail.com). Submit the new email and verify the change. Once this is done, edit the email again to exactly match the capitalisation. Remove the + and everything you added (AnyOne@gmail.com). Submit and verify. You have now edited your email without changing your email account :D
