Try getting a good air purifier in your bedroom, if you don’t already have one - I use a Levoit (has a HEPA filter - available on Amazon) πŸ˜€

My dad has had post nasal drip most of his life. He recommended an allergy nasal spray ( Fluticasone Propionate active ingredient Glucocorticoid not sure if you can get this in the U.K.) I have allergies and the only thing that helps me is washing out my sinuses with a neti pot. It's uncomfortable but it makes a huge difference.

Constantly streaming nose, not so much allergic to dust but often the house humidity is too low, the relative humidity should be around 45-50%. The nose streams to moisten the dry air it is inhaling. The air is dryer in winter than summer, particularly in the Southeast, cold air is dry when entering the house even if raining outside. Another cause is trimming one's nose hair, we have them to keep annoying particles out of our airways, the body hair we have left is for a reason otherwise we would have lost it over the millennia we have inhabited the planet. Keep a good airflow through the flat by opening windows in unoccupied rooms and internal doors open. Temperature no higher than 21 C. Never had a mould problem in my poorly constructed 1970's brick and concrete block house, a severe dust problem yes but that doesn't bother me or all the spiders that seem to like my house, just as well they don't bother me. They have as much right in the house as I do, I've given up hoovering the webs off the walls as my Hoover is too heavy to lug upstairs, they seem to avoid the kitchen and living room. Did have a mice problem a few years ago but that was solved with traps and a new back door and frame as was rotten at the bottom with a big hole in it. Micky and Minnie have stayed away since. Had to chase a very noisy dog Fox out of the garden one night a few weeks ago and got to see the Northern Lights whilst evicting him, a very rare sight in West Cork, the lights not Foxes. Hope the runny nose clears up soon.

I've only been a indoor-plant-mum the last few years and thankfully they haven't all died yet lol πŸ‘€

Alanna, It's great that you embrace weightlifting. It is so beneficial. I have to admit I don't own a single plant. Not even an artificial one...πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🌱
