Wonder what they(US) would make of London's new electric buses made by BYD, a Chinese EV manufacturer, they are a bit controversial, some think TfL has got lost down a rabbit hole. I think that Trump will reverse it as he is a fan although thinks that China is a threat to the country but that old saying is even more relevant now, 'Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer'.
