๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ My mum visited England! ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Hey Patreon! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป Recently my mum visited me in England for our annual Christmas get-together! Here's all the hot gossip (and what went wrong).

Originally I was going to add-in all the PO Box goodies that have been sent in the last few weeks but there's been SO MUCH that I'm putting those into their own video. You guys have been too kind!!!!

Hope you're having a great December so far!

Some one like yourself far away from home with elderly parent (?s) it can be tough and will only get harder. I hope your mother has family in Canada to care for her. You hide it so well. Another interesting video as always.

Yes! It's on Trip Advisor in Canterbury - it's a new workshop so not sure how long she's been running it, but it was so fun

Merry Christmas! Hope you can see the Mousetrap sometime

Stained glass would be so cool! I wonder if anyone local does that

That's true. But the bulk of the pain was Sunday when my GP is closed. She was doing better on Monday with what we had, so we left it as is.

I love to plan lol it makes everything so easy once she's here!

Great that you got to see your Mum for the week. Do you have the details of the silversmith workshop you did. It sounds lots of fun & I'd be tempted to give it as a present next year.

Merry Christmas to you and Yours and a very prosperous New Year. The Mousetrap has been running for almost as many years as I've been alive and still yet to see it, must have been to an hundred or more plays and shows, one day before I kick it I will get to see it. If anyone lets slip the ending I swear they will get a thump. I feel for your Mum as someone that underwent major back and hip surgery at 16 the pain can be totally unbearable, at least today help and medication that is not Morphine is more readily available, no being carried in the wheelchair up and down the stairs at stations and having to travel in a freezing baggage van on the train to and from school, was I glad when I learnt to walk again and setting off the metal detectors at Airports was amusing and made the security staff mad as I only let on before they resorted to an internal exam! no hand held scanners then, the 70's, the metalwork in a suspicious location. The scars gave it away thankfully.

Glad your mum had a good time and got back safely. Hereโ€™s an idea for another activity, either for next time your mum comes or yourself: My sister did a stained glass workshop a while back, which she really enjoyed โ€“ with the added benefit that what you make is likely to be around potentially for a very long time.

I think she would be able to go to a doctor and get the painkillers.

Did I hear correctly you create and develop a spreadsheet for your Mom's visit? If that's not love I don't know what is? Brilliant...๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโค๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง
