That's good then! The Philosopher's Stone was the PROPER title - but the US publishers seemed to think the American audiences wouldn't understand that ancient concept, so they changed it to something they felt Americans would 'get' better.

Ah, nope! Canada had the Philosopher's Stone 👍🏻

Adventures and Naps

Most likely the American version. You'd know by the title of the the first book, if it is "the philosopher's stone" or "the sorcerer's stone". Check the link and you'll see a list of all words and expressions that have been changed (just click on each title. 😊

I don't know! Whatever version was sold in Canada

Adventures and Naps

We haven't started it yet! But soon ☺️

Ah yes, you shared your castles before! I've never heard of MediEvil though, but I'll check it out! 🙏🏻

You asked for suggestions for games...... well, it might not be your kind of thing, but I'm currently LOVING building and creating my own castles to my own designs in "Lego Worlds"! There is an 'adventure mode' where you can visit the various worlds and complete simple tasks to gain new bricks and weapons and 'discoveries' - and to collect the rarer Gold Bricks! Once you get past a hundred of them, you become a 'Master Builder' - but I don't bother with that anymore - I create worlds in 'Sandbox Mode' and that enables me to get REALLY creative and artistic and to design and build my own, huge, Lego structures from scratch - I LOVE it! You can also save video footage onto a dongle, which you can copy to a PC and edit into your own video - see my own examples here: https://youtu.be/24_XrIRQiq8?si=vqLEJl7o_Rk3yop8 https://youtu.be/CsEkVfL1aaQ?si=VLlN3Qce6d7nwHKF Another brilliant game is a classic one which was recently re-made with much greater and clearer graphics - called "MediEvil", where your character is a resurrected skeleton in armour called Sir Daniel Fortesque, who travels through each level on a constantly-expanding map, gaining new weapons and fighting-off the baddies - with the ultimate goal of eventually defeating the evil wizard, Zaroc, in his lair! It's fiendishly difficult but TOTALLY absorbing! Both of these I play on my Playstation4 - which is the best platform for these two - though I believe they CAN be accessed on a PC.

Alanna, Fun "Life Update" video. The doggy book is a great gift! Have you and the Butler been watching TaskMaster?

When you read Harry Potter, do you read the British or American versions? https://www.hp-lexicon.org/differences-changes-text/
