2024-09-08 08:56:29 +0000 UTCSky don't need ads, they just discontinue equipment so one has to upgrade. The remote for my Sky + HD box became faulty and when I contacted them for a new one I was informed that they are now obsolete so had to upgrade to Sky Q, roll on Thursday when installation should happen and by bye to hundreds of downloads and recordings not yet watched, hello to hours of manually installing regional UK TV and radio stations. I don't think Q has the satellite coordinates as preloaded.
