2024-08-17 14:04:15 +0000 UTCPortugal is a lovely country, the only downside is the North Atlantic,even with the Gulf Stream can be a tad baltic. The Ex Wife lives there most of the year, no idea where as the Christmas Card always posted from her house in Stoke. That was good timing as they had some very wet chilly weather during spring now a severe heat wave. You appear to have enjoyed the short additional break from the grindstone. Stay healthy.

The small town you visited (not gonna try to type the name) looks like it had a similar vibe to the town in Italy where my dad lived, the same huge fancy houses next to tiny boarded up ones. We were told the big houses probably belonged to mafia people (I'm sure they tell all tourists that)
