They are a bit more gentle with one's belongings if neatly packed rather than just upend on the desk. Never use a case with a damaged or repaired lining, that's just asking them to slice it open. Modern scanning has lessened the need for physical examination. A Diplomatic passport is a Carte Blanch straight through, Dad never got a pull when using his but after retirement was always pulled over. Dodgy looking face?

I don't have 20, I love throwing stuff out/donating too much lol

Adventures and Naps

I will!

I thought it was interesting! I didn't know anything about the father nor listen to much Kate Bush so felt like I was learning a lot

Unfortunately if you get stopped at customs, you'll need to take everything out of the cubes, too!

the medicine and then the po box opening from when you still had your previous travel illness...girl πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ« . My Grandma once sent my Uncle homemade cookies when he was living in Alberta and he said "thanks for the cookies, I ate them with a spoon".🀣 I think that's cool you can actually buy a boy of broken cookies.

I pack light, usually a sleepingbag toothbrush and credit card. Holiday clothes tend to be lifetime acquisitions or disposable items.

I have at least 20 pairs of jeans but only fit into about four pairs currently. I really need to start hitting the gym lol

What can I tell you about Fred, I'm from Scotland but health and safety works have a fit over some of the stuff he used to get up to. You need to take a look at some videos of him a real down to earth guy

I'll be interested to hear what you think of "A Book of Dreams" - it's definitely DIFFERENT - and, unless I've been completely hoodwinked, it's actually all a true story about what happened to his father! It seems to be the only book you've mentioned that I've already read (I was always a HUGE Kate Bush fan back in the day!) - so please let us know what you think about it, Alanna!

Chocolate is a wonderful PO Box suprise...πŸ“¦πŸ΄β€

You definitely need lessons in packing, if unlucky and get a tug by Customs an untidy case will be tipped out onto the bench and you left to repack it. Invest in some packing cubes. Haven't seen broken biscuits since the days of Woolworth's, that was a great chain of stores, sweets, food, clothes and homewares at reasonable prices and a good cafeteria. As you're in Canada I presume my Edenbridge order placed on Friday will be delayed, the Butler left to do everything, poor chap. Was hoping to get it in before you left. Have a safe and healthy trip and best regards to your family.
