This month we read The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu and translated by Ken Liu ๐จ๐ณ This was the first Chinese book I've ever read, which is really exciting! And I loved it.
The Three Body Problem is definitely one of the harder books I've read in recent years - very sci-fi, heavily based in Chinese society with complex mathematical and physics-based problems and theories... I know, right? But the author does such a good job at explaining it to an idiot (without making you feel like an idiot) ๐
I loved it so much I went out and bought the box-set (there's 2 more in the series) and I'll be reading those after finishing our monthly Book Club picks. I'll definitely be checking out the upcoming Netflix show, too! I hope it stays true to the book!
Did you read/listen to this one? Let me know!
Sci-fi not your cup of tea? That's OK! This month I received The Whitstable Pearl Mystery to the PO Box, and I'll be reading that for our April pick! You can get it here if you'd like to read along, too. It's a British crime-mystery and I'm excited to give it a go! ๐
My goal is to read more - so I started Book Club! Each month, Iโll post what Iโm reading and you are welcome to join in! At the end of the month, weโll share our thoughts on the book (no spoilers in case you're still reading).
You can try and read each book, or pick and choose, or not! Itโs totally up to you.
Happy Reading!
