Not a city break, but I’m having a day out around Kent and Sussex by train with my goofy flat-coated retriever Douglas in a couple of weeks. Starting near home, we’re heading through Maidstone, Ashford (lunch break), Hastings (tea), Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and back home. Ticket for the entire journey: just over ten quid - bargain!

As I write this, I haven't seen the whole video yet - so I don't know if you managed to master the correct pronunciation of 'Cheltenham' yet....? But I HAD to jump in and put you right! It's pronounced "Chelt-num" basically. Dead easy when you know how! I notice you now say 'Yorkshire' perfectly - so let's get you up to speed with "Chelt-num" as well!! Having now seen the whole thing, you were a bit more accurate at the end, but it's still more of a 2-syllable word than three. Interesting adventure you had there in 'Chelt-num'!

Pleased you had a good weekend . Cheltenham is a cool place and not to far for me . I get there a couple of times a year for the racing

Cute town! Never been there. Thanks for taking us along!

Great vlog! I also like the music you chose for the walk around Cheltenham...🎺🇬🇧

Being invited as a plus one is basically saying you’ll come, but you don’t want to really! Organised fun!

It's because it is a magical place. It gets under your skin too. You definitely need to go.

The ham at the end pronounced as em. Cheltenham has a very famous and expensive girls Public School that has been attended by some very famous or infamous 'girls'. One of my ex GF's was expelled from there but that's another story. A tip when packing bulky boots use the inside of them to pack rolled up socks or underwear. February (end of Jan) means I'm now another year older, ugh.

Dang, how come you go so often? I'd love to visit sometime, the photos look incredible!

That's really strange, hope you didn't travel far

Thank you! 🙏

Not a UK break but i am off to Iceland for a few days very soon. Fourth time in five years and it only takes half the time it took you to get to Shelltownhamshire! Nice choice clothes wise in the end and a nice look around the town too.

Many years ago, I had a job interview near Cheltenham. It didn't go well, not least because they couldn't tell me anything about the job I was applying for.
