Youtube Update! π«

In case you missed some earlier ramblings, I wanted to let you know that I'm launching Youtube memberships with my latest video!
So what does that mean?
I'll be offering the same 3-tiers on Youtube as I do on Patreon. It'll be the same exclusive content.
For transparency, the tiers on Youtube are more expensive because Youtube doesn't let you type in a price like Patreon does - you have to choose a price from a dropdown menu. And of course, Youtube doesn't have "5" "10" or "20" as options! So I've picked the closest alternatives.
Also - Patreon takes a 6% cut of my income, where Youtube takes 30%.
I figured I'm already making exclusive content, I might as well offer it on Youtube memberships as well. I think there's people who don't know what Patreon is and are reluctant to join. But everyone knows what YouTube is.
Either way, it'll be an interesting experiment to see what happens!
If you'd prefer to switch to Youtube memberships instead of Patreon, please feel free! Your support across the A+N platforms is so hugely appreciated.

Wow, 30% is a huge cut!!! 6% is way more reasonable. I'd also rather have the 6% go to supporting Jack (who seems a decent guy) and Patreon. As opposed to the all consuming maw that is Google.

2024-01-16 16:18:18 +0000 UTCI'll stick on Patreon as prefer you to have 94% of my money than only 70% of it and no need to join both as on others. It's less than that as what we pay on YT includes VAT so deducted before you receive it, Patreon charge us on top. A whacking 23% here in Ireland.
