2023-12-09 16:25:40 +0000 UTCGlad the 'Butler' is on the mend, I had a virus last weekend, it floored me for a couple of days. There is one doing the rounds that has been around for decades and has not been a problem in the past but has now mutated into a deadly one for the young and elderly/vulnerable. A vaccine will not be available and approved until the middle of next year and will be administered with the normal child vaccines or the autumn Flu/Covid one for those eligible. It presents at first as a severe head cold and known as RSV. We also have that strain of Porcine Flu that has now jumped species and will be included in next years Flu jab but was not in this year's.
