2023-10-29 16:27:50 +0000 UTCI have had several spooky experiences throughout my life. I will tell you this one. I lived on a corner block in Melbourne and had done so for a number of years. All my kids were born there. A man moved into the house three doors down. Our house had a front lawn where the kids would play on a lovely day. The man who had just moved in would regularly say hello as he walked past and talk to the kids. This particular day, I was sitting on the front step as he walked past. We had a short chat, he said hello to the kids and went on his merry way. As I went into the house, I had a weird feeling as I suddenly realised, he was murdered three days before by three guys who had been caught by police outside the fence next to our bedroom window. I had been interstate three days before when the murder had been reported on the news and our house had been filmed as part of the news.

2023-10-28 12:07:51 +0000 UTCI'm not into All Hallows Eve as not a Druid and the celebration of the end of Autumn and the beginning of Winter, astrological, with stories about Ghouls and Ghosts. It has always been big here in Ireland as was a Druid country before Patrick, a Welshman, converted it to Christian and the tradition stayed. This year the Trick or Treaters will be getting fruit, an Apple or a Satsuma not sweets, hope they are into healthy food. Maybe a couple sweets as a few still left from last year and a 31/05/24 best before date on them.

2023-10-28 11:26:00 +0000 UTCWhilst studying for my physics degree I was presented with evidence for two concepts that fundamentlly challenged my understanding of the physical universe we inhabit. Firstly, the realm of Quantum Mechanics, wherein one's classical understanding of a single, permanent, physical world is blown away. Secondly, the existence of a spritiual realm, somewhere 'other' than this physical world we currently inhabit. I personally find the evidence for both is convincing.
