Hey Patreon! πŸ‘‹

It's basically October which means happy (nearly) Spooky Month! I love October - big jumpers, cozy hot drinks, the leaves changing... perhaps a pumpkin spiced latte or two??

This video was a bit cursed - how timely!

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

I've never been a fan of pumpkin pie so anything pumpkin spice doesn't do anything for me. However, had I known you were considering a pumpkin spice video I could have grabbed somethings while I was in Watertown NY cause Walmart had a lot!! lol

"We're not going to tell anyone what happened here" words to live by. I'm ok with pumpkin spice, I just don't want to have it in everything. Last year Trader Joe's had pumpkin spice tortilla chips and hummus🀒

Demerara sugar is brown sugar we are just posh, as for mutilating coffee thats a no, prefer mine straight out the Espresso machine, hot black and strong with nothing added. Not even sugar. A five and above roast. Mustn't use my spoons for measuring, my tea spoons vary from 4ml to 8ml depending on age, the 19th century Silver ones the largest. Same with the dessert spoons and tablespoons. I always use ml for all recipes. If using a US or old English one the conversion chart has to be found first but know that the spoon sizes are 5ml, 15ml and 25ml for tea, dessert and tablespoon. Add a half again for a rounded spoon not a level one. Double for a heaped.

Ok so I'm just trying to get used to you without the glasses, glad it's going well after the last eye surgery. You might have to poke the lenses out of the frames till I get used to the new look πŸ˜‚. Pumpkin spice not tried it but it doesn't sound great but I might go give it a try now. On a me note I've thought about eye surgery before but back in the day I didn't hear great things about it, dry eyes etc which put me off. On the pumpkin thing, we used turnip, way harder than pumpkin carving

Seems like a lot of work for a coffee. Nice to see you adjusting well to your glasses free environment.

"Not simmer, the other word!" Thanks for making my day with that! Maybe the reason why us Brits don't (or didn't) go quite so full on with the hallow'en thing is because, certainly when I growing up Guy Fawkes Night was a really big thing! My Dad used to buy all these fireworks and come rain, frost, more rain, we all stood around wrapped up like Eskimos while he pretended to be starting WW 3! "Penny for The Guy" was a big thing too. Scouts and Girl Guides would come round collecting for various good causes. Hallowe'n (My Mum's birthday, her middle name was Cylene, a famous (?) witch!) was just not celebrated, like in North America.

Great video, the title made me lol... πŸ˜‚ Better luck next time, It would be great to have a review of the Butler's attempt at it. Speaking of the Butler, a moment of silence for that poor man having to put up with the shtank until Thursday..... 🫑
