I made a happy experiment once and discovered that peanut butter sandwiches on wholemeal bread taste divine with sliced beetroot on top of them!! What a beautiful combination! My family pull a face when I tell them about it, but "Don't knock it till you've tried it" is my motto! Happy Milestone Birthday, Alanna!!

Love the mug too from Ashers!! All our daffs are still burried in the ground under the snow. Cheese and cider pairing!! That's the dream!!! What a super lvoely gift and a way to support local farmers.

There's a trick o a great cup of green tea let someone else drink the first infusion of the leaves. the third or forth has the best flavour and the least caffeine. Taught to me by our local Chinese restaurant owner Mr. Ho. He has a gorgeous Irish wife. and 3 gorgeous daughters who now run the businesses. The UK regularly put the French in their place with cheeses. As Corporal Jones would say "They don't like it up 'em". Cheese and English wine is not helping Anglo French relations. They are not good losers. They have never gotten over the fact that we invented the second fermentation in the bottle for Champagne production they couldn't make a glass bottle strong enough to take the pressure.
