Patreon Only - When a craft doesn't go as planned...

Happy Saturday, everyone!!

We start off with a PO Box surprise that was ~extremely~ related to this week's new craft!! I'm very happy to report that I've gotten better since editing this video 🥳 not great yet, but at least better!!

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Wool separates when it gets untwisted.. In crochet you are constantly turning your work so you need to watch out for that and correct it. Also it would be easier to make a square first and learn the various stitches as you go starting with a simple chain as a base , then crochet, double crochet, triple etc. The videos you had were certainly not the best for beginners.

This video is so wholesome. Remember when Alanna wasn't really a tea girl?

What's happened to Alanna, what have you done with the coffee girl I'm used to 😂. Amazing job on the crochet 🧶 I thought you would have given up on it in tears. My mum knits and has done socks and proper fisherman's jumpers with no joins i.e. arms not stitched on. The islands all have different patterns so if one is lost and he's found later they can tell what island he came from, not so fun fact. Crochet is/was much harder for her, don't think she does it now and it was always small stuff she did.

Ten out of ten for perseverance, Alanna! My late wife Ann was a prolific knitter of baby clothes - she did crochet a few multi-coloured blankets in her time, but she always found it awkward and MUCH preferred her baby-clothes knitting! You asked for recommendations or suggestions on types of loose-leaf tea... Assam is very nice indeed - but if you want to try something REALLY spectacularly different - give Lapsang Souchong a try - it'll blow your mind! It's got the most amazing, smoky flavour and I'm sure you'll (probably) love it!

Please cut the sugar out or at least down for the sake of your health its not that hard I did it aged 12 and if a child can do it anyone can. Mother had type 1 Diabetes so never any really sweet things or sugar in the house. Diabetic chocolate is awful so is Saccharin! Sweet tea was achieved by adding a shot of Dad's Rum (the good stuff 'borrowed' from Naval stores) occasionally. "It must have evaporated Dad".

Nicely done, you got it done and the perfect size in the end. That year is a really nice colour. Oh I might have to find myself a rose flavoured tea. I haven't tried one before.

Hello, although i'm a rather new patreon I thought I would give a few tips for your crocheting. I only picked it up during lockdown so I wouldn't be doom scrolling on my phone. For the fraying issue may I suggest a bigger needle, some smaller ones can be more pointy and then you end up stabbing the yarn instead. Also you might want to check the direction of the twist of your yarn, as sometimes you can be working against the twist and all you're doing is just unravelling it instead. My only other one I can think of is that different brands make needles different shapes, there is not a one needle fits everyone situation. Hope that wasn't too long and that it helps somewhat.

10/10 for effort. Hope the Post Box gets its wooly hat. A packet of L/L tea will be winging its way to your PO Box from next Saturday. Just have to remember to order with next week's groceries and pray that HM Customs don't open as have a wont to do with things that show up weird/suspicious on a scanner. S'pose could check to see if Amazon have it.

I haven’t had tea in so long because I’m not as home as much anymore lol, i just get coffee out places when I’m at Uni because I don’t like using my flat kitchen lol, thanks for your video as always btw! Watching your patreon video is a nice part of my day at work!

I’ve never been a fan of tea. It’s not sweet & as I’m addicted to sugar, I have to have more spoonfuls in it than an energy drink for it to be palatable to me 😂 I can’t crochet, counting the stitches always confused me but I can say I tried lol Don’t worry, I have a new (easy) craft for you… watch this space… 😎

Genuinely admire your dedication and patience to keep persevering with the coaster; it looks really good even if it's not perfect! Looking forward to seeing the post-box yarn-bomb. Thanks for the video as always 😀
