November Book Club REVIEW - Super sweet!
Added 2022-11-27 13:00:05 +0000 UTCThis month I read Olive, Mabel and Me (sent to the PO Box by Steve, huge shoutout for the gift!) I really enjoyed it!
There were a few bits that I skipped - like the origins of Labradors.. BUT the way he talks about Olive and Mabel is so completely adorable and extremely relatable. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the book since I know very little (if anything) about Andrew Cotter, but I really liked it a lot. Plus it was nice to read something a bit different this month!
Very sweet, very cute - makes me really miss having a dog!

2022-11-28 02:40:18 +0000 UTCI’ve only really just started reading it! I had to read normal people for my group presentation and then I have lots of essays to do for next Monday so I haven’t really had time lol, but I’d like to try finish it soon!

2022-11-28 00:32:51 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed the book, (Even the stuff about the human) I had the audio book and I kinda recognised his voice, I guess I've heard his commentary at some point before. I never heard of the YT channel before so it was nice to go and watch all the videos after he describes them in the book. #nospoilers but I thought poor Mabel was hard done by, especially the bit about the ticks burrowing into her head and going right through because it's empty.... 😂
