Been meaning to post this. The rum butter is a local item. If you go to the rum story in west Cumbria they talk about it and how if got here. They talk about it as a local village to me. And the Jeffersonβs (a relation if you back a few years). There where slave traders π¬π¬. Not great at all. We went and named the family then the house they didnβt know the deer gave them. So rum butter comes from this from out research

The Duchy of Lancaster being the Monarchs private estate. The Crown Estate belongs to Parliament therefore the country. The Queen/Monarch being the Duke of Lancaster except in the Channel Islands where She/He is the Duke of Normandy.
