I haven’t had Angel delight since I was younger so it’s probably not like I remember however strawberry would be what I would choose. I’m kind of curious now about it and will probably buy a packet. I probably wouldn’t mind chocolate but could not eat butterscotch. Thank you for the video and I hope you have a great week, sorry it took so long to watch the video, I was busy this weekend.

My mistake in getting the cacao plant confused with the cocoa plant, not difficult now.

Tony S

The wife loves the butterscotch. I'm swayed that way too, but I do like banana flavour

Tazz1669

That'll be a hard pass but I did buy a box of Cap'n Crunch

Andrew8468

I'm rarely disappointed by chocolate flavored anything

Tushar Pankaj

Takes a lot for me to stray from chocolate, but a butterscotch angel delight will do it every time - lush!

Malcolm Lawrence

Oh god no! Awful stuff!

James Hodson

I wonder how alcoholic Angel Delight would turn out. You should combined them all together to see how that tasted.

Brett Carruthers

Great video. I remember having raspberry as a kid, it was a rare treat and always felt more fancy than plain old strawberry.

Will

Cocaine comes the coca plant which is entirely different from the cocoa plant.

Wished you hadn't got the Hot cross buns out, just had to dig a couple out the freezer for later, original ones, can't abide these new fangled flavours of a traditional foodstuff. Must put a few packets on next Saturdays food order before they are unavailable again. The Strawberry flavour is obtained by using freeze dried powdered strawberrys, similar process to making instant coffee granules. Angel Delight and Instant Whip are basically modified Corn Starch, sugar and a powdered natural flavouring with a preservative, Citric or Ascetic Acid. Chocolate is the easy one to poduce as its just Cocoa powder. Cocaine also comes from the Cocoa plant but the leaf not the seeds (beans). People used to chew on them for the effect they give, both for pain relief or an high.

A similar one i remember is Flummery, whipped jelly crystalls and cream, Yum.

Angel Delight tastes of butterscotch, the only reason the other flavours exist is because they felt they had to make a range of flavours πŸ˜‹

Wow sounds incredible!!

πŸ˜‚ Incredible. Totally love the buns and not at ALL hot-cross-y!

What E numbers, the colouring and flavouring ones are banned, the ones that are used are natural like Beta-Carrotine for orange colouring and Paprika extract for red, they do have an E number to comply with EU legislation but are not artificial ones.

Shocked it's not chocolate!!

Thanks Aaron, you too!

A friend and I bought some Angel Delight a few years ago, because we both had fond memories of it from school. It was not good.

Chocolate is always the go to choice for most desert foods...πŸ˜‹

Steve Mikre

Strawberry, Banana, Butterscotch in that order. There is no chocolate. Chocolate doesn't exist, it's a figment of your imagination.

Mohegan13

Hi, Alanna, can't really remember having Angel Delight very often, but it would be chocolate for me every time. The cheese hot cross buns looked delicious, I will have to visit M & S to get some.

Banana for me. Or chocolate. Or both with two big spoons. Life's too short to compromise.

I agree with you re strawberry "flavour". Totally artificial! These days fresh strawberries are flown in from Outer Mongolia or somewhere and just have very little taste, just mush! As for AD, Butterscotch for me, when a kid. Not now. I'll pass. As for artificial tastes, Banana is top of the tree, closely followed by watermelon. Thanks as ever for brightening up a very cold Saturday!

Stuart Hamilton

Haven't had it in more years than I care to remember, but always have two favourites the butterscotch and rhe mint chocolate. It was always a really simple thing that could be made at short notice, put it in the fridge before eating dinner and it'd be ready right away.

John Fry

Butterscotch for me! Just add a Vesta Meal for an authentic 1970s dining experience.

Dr Philip J Naylor

Alanna, its 10am

Jamie Smith

Butterscotch for me to , 4 servings per pack maybe for kids but only one as an adult as I am not sharing

Peter Matthews

As a child we had blancmange rather than Angel Delight, not entirely sure of the difference. As it happens I was more of a jelly person. Thanks for the video as always - have a great weekend.

Stuart Summers

Butterscotch, butterscotch, butterscotch, the only word you need for Angel Delight! The best childhood treat.

Adam Clark

I haven’t heard of angel delight before! Thanks for the chill video, hope you have a nice weekend!

Aaron Conway

I've eaten Angel Delight since childhood, and for me the top of the tree is very definitely butterscotch by a mile - probably is for kids but I still love it!

Malcolm Lawrence

Butterscotch Angel Delight!! The best one! Cheap & easy. Eat it on its own, yum! It’s been so long, I might need to go get some lol… First time I tried to make it (instead of my mum), the powder & milk kept separating, so I kept adding milk to it… it didn’t get better & all went in the bin πŸ˜‚ I might be able to get onboard with a cheese hot cross bun if they don’t taste like normal ones!

Gem

I value my health, can i pass?

Wayne Thurston

Butterscotch for the win! Banana next. I used to use double the milk for a great banana shake. Another use is to take half an Easter egg, break up some chocolate muffin in the bottom, add cherries, then cover with chocolate angel delight, add whipped cream and chocolate shavings when set......... Yum.
