December Book Club REVIEW!

Like I mentioned in the "Book Club Recap of 2021" video - I finished December's book: The Silent Patient (you can buy it here if you're interested)

I thought it was good! I didn't see the twist or where the book was going, so that's always a bonus. Love small chapters - it makes reading seem so much faster!

Usually thriller/mystery-type books aren't groundbreaking (and this wasn't) but they're still a good read and something to do other than scroll through Instagram! I can't help but read a crime mystery!

Did anyone else read the Silent Patient this month? I think a few people have already read it before - let me know what you think!

I liked this one, as other people are saying, good rather than great but still an interesting story. I don't do many murder mysteries so I don't know how it compares to the rest of the genre. I initially thought the reveal was a bit far fetched but as it was explained, it made perfect sense. Solid 5/7 😂

I totally agree - I enjoyed it, but I probably won't remember it in a few months. Still good, though!

That's awesome! I've definitely read a lot more this year, too - thankfully!

I read this one a little while ago, mainly because of the ace reviews it got. It was a good read for sure and I got through it fast which is always a good sign for me, but it didn't stand out from the very big crowd in this genre - good rather than great!

I read it this month! I thought it was good, and I definitely didn’t see the twist coming! Thank you for the book club, I’ve did it for the past few months and I like it, its been making me read a lot more than I used to! I really appreciate it!
