Just found out that they are produced in a factory that also handles crustaceans, so that probably rules it out for you due to your shellfish allergy ☹️ Interestingly, I just found out that Calbee has a UK wing, and they acquired Seabrook's, who make a great salt and vinegar crinkle cut crisps.

David Powell

Fascinating, thanks for the heads up!

Adventures and Naps

Ooh I love Seabrooks but never had Worcestershire before! I think..

Adventures and Naps

That's a great idea, thanks so much!!

Thanks for watching!

Adventures and Naps

Lucky you! Our old flat had a nice woman who delivered to us for Hermes - unfortunately not the case here!

Adventures and Naps

🥳 lucky you! I'm still waiting lol

Adventures and Naps

Thanks Mark!

Adventures and Naps

💔 terrible!

Adventures and Naps

That's strange! We've had numerous parcels arrive from Hermes before - it's only just been now that it's an issue.

Adventures and Naps

Thanks Stephen!

Thanks Aaron!!

Salt and vinnies with MILK!! Shocked! But I'll give it a go lol thanks for watching!

Adventures and Naps

Totally agree, love Seabrook's crisps. Cheese and salt and vinegar crisp sandwiches are heavenly!

David Powell

Salt and vinegar crisps aren't what they used to be, they keep on swapping out sharp vinegar with sweet vinegars like balsamic, cider and Chardonnay vinegar. ☹️ Used to love Tesco's Finest Jalapeno crisps, and even though it's not my usual supermarket, I used to do shops there just for those crisps! Kettle Chips did a limited edition soy and ginger flavour crisps, which were delicious, but they've never done them since. If you can find them Calbee Char Siu crisps from Hong Kong are so good, just like a Chinese takeaway in crisp form 😋

David Powell

After extensive research during nearly 63 years on this planet I concluded that Seabrook’s Worcestershire Sauce flavoured crisps are the best on the planet. FYI Walker’s attempt at the same flavour are inedible. N.B. salt & vinegar crisps are great on a Cheshire cheese sandwich too.

It'd be nice if their were more options for being able to choose which company delivers your package. What about ordering the stuff online and picking it up in store? Perhaps you need to suffer a London day trip to do xmas shopping. Video idea: I think on discord you had mentioned maybe re-doing some old videos. What if you gathered up some stuff that you hated from past taste tests to see if your opinion has changed?

Brett Carruthers

Nice!

Jamie Smith

I'm old enough to remember the sign on the back of Smiths Crisps delivery vans " Stop Me and Buy Some", copied from the Walls Ice Cream delivery vans "Stop Me and Buy One". Durex jumped on the band wagon with an ad stating " Buy Me and Stop One". No regulation of adverts back then.

Tony S

Look up the CEO of Hermes on the Companies House Register of Directors and send a personal email. All their direct contact details have to be published on it. My favourite crisp no longer exists, Smiths, taken over by Walkers. Back in the day before flavoured crisps plain was the only flavour, the salt was in a little twist of waxed paper. Crisps only had a shelf life of a week maximum then as before plastic packaging and Nitrogen filled bags. Most producers were local companies that got swallowed by the now big ones. Current favourite Walkers Ready Salted. Not a fan of flavours but will tolerate Cheese and Onion, had no choice when I moved to Ireland as then was the only one available here, Tayto invented the Cheese and Onion flavour. Golden Wonder is a variety of potato developed for crisp production as very dry and floury, makes great Roasties too. The company took its name from it.

Tony S

I have to say my favourite crisp-type snacks in the whole, wide world are Frazzles - or better still, Morrisons own brand, called Rashers! My second favourite are Walkers Salt & Vinegar crisps. I think your Hermes problem must be a postcode thing, because all my Hermes deliveries here in Glastonbury are always promptly brought by a friendly, chatty man who happens to be a local councillor as well!

Steven Parkes

Yay Hermes delivered while watching your video.

Graham Lavers

Thanks for this Saturdays vid ..Must say the Hermes sucks. .You should send a email to there head office. .Hermes uses Any Tom Dick or Harry to deliver there parcels..Maybe there just having the stuff away ..Lastly the bomb is not very funny ..If anyone is going to send that kind of stuff there should at least put there name to it ..I wouldn't be happy with the mess. .Also we live in trying times ..Really don't help .If you were in the military or suffer form PDSD or any kind of mental condition ,Anyway thanks again ..

Mark Walsh

Can I join your rant about Hermes, I was expecting a package due on 13th November, then it got sent to the wrong depot, message from them yesterday, delayed by 24 hours. Mmmm we will see if it arrives.

Graham Lavers

I'm guessing that Hermes don't think that your address is a 'real' address or something and that Royal Mail's database of addresses/postcodes is just set up better. Crisp manufacturers apply more fat to enable the flavouring to be retained evenly while in store and transit. With Salt n Shake, there is less grease needed on the crisp, as the flavour is applied in the moment before eating. That's why they are still a 'thing' as they are less greasy. Let's not dwell on your wrong opinion of Frazzles.

David O

Hi, Alanna, very rarely buy crisps, if I do it's normally just ready salted. As for Hermes they seem to be getting worse every day. We will all be waiting for an update. Looking forward to a video cooking with blue maple syrup. Enjoyed this one it was very good.

Stephen Parker

The person who sent you the glitter bomb probably delivers parcels for Hermes...

Steve Mikre

I honestly don't think there's a day goes by without somebody on our village Facebook group chasing something that has already been 'delivered' by Hermes (with non-helpful photo of nothing useful as proof!). As for Golden Wonder crisps, they used to be the UK's top brand about 25 years ago but they've been overtaken by just about every other brand...I'd place them pretty low on your chart.

Malcolm Lawrence

This was a great video! I know they’re not British but my favourite crisps are tayto! I put some of them in the box I want to send to the PO box (I’m hopefully going to be able to send it soon!) so you can try tayto! Oh and congrats on living in England for 6 years!! That’s so cool!! I’m looking forward to your YouTube stream tomorrow! I’ll be there to help mod! Good luck for your stream! You’re going to do great! Your streams are always so much fun!

Aaron Conway

I’m not a massive crisp fan. I’ll eat them of they’re there but wouldn’t buy them for myself. I woulda put skips & nik naks higher, plus Tescos own frazzles, yum. Cheese flavour crisps can die in the bottom tier imo! Lol… Love cheese, hate cheese crisps, yuk! Feel for all the Hermes problems out there, lucky enough not to have had a problem yet (touch wood)! Omg that’s a lot of glitter! 😂✨

Gem

Fellow crisp fiend here! Totally agree Salt & Vinegar are the best, especially with a glass of cold milk. Pretty much agree with your ranking, except I'd put Wotsits much higher. FYI: Golden Wonder is a long-standing crisp brand in the UK. Crazy annoying situation with Hermes, is it possible they have been mistakenly leaving your parcels with a nearby neighbour? As always, love your Saturday morning videos to start the weekend off 🙂
