Happy Saturday, everyone!!

This week I took a UK driving theory test online! And it was harder than I expected!! lol

If you'd like to take the test, you can find it here (also feel free to post your results down below!)

I also received loads of cool stuff to the PO Box, so that's at the end of the video. I've added Chapters in case you watch to skip around.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

I failed but the questions I missed were mostly because I didnโ€™t know what the words meant.

If Johnny foreigner with enough money can do it then as Citizen of the Empire you have the right to do it. Post until quite recently had sending something to the next county the same as the next country so long as Her Majesty ruled over it. All good fun.

chris

As I said, if you are leaving a safe distance between you and the car in front why do you need to slow down, there would already be a gap big enough for an overtaking car to pull in to.

Arthur Gatward

Thanks Tony! Thankfully everything is available online. now

smurf homicide lol

I enjoy the unboxings as it is fun to compare what other followers have sent with what I'd do myself, given the info Alanna has shared previously.

Hilarious! Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜„

Chris

Two reasons, if they drive into the back of you, then you are less likely to be shunted into the car in front, and you also open up a gap in front of you to allow the following car to overtake you and move into.

David Powell

Now I know what a Smurf homicide scene looks like. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm not sure that all the questions in the free driving theory test were official/current. Some of the question wording/images seemed off to me.

David Powell

In this unboxing, Alanna dissects an alien.

Get a copy of the Highway Code, available from good Newsagents and bookshops, may even be online now a days. My copy is over 50 years old but much is still the same as regards to stopping distances (feet not metres), Hand Signals and the rules of the road. Only the road signs and markings are now different with information regarding modern laws missing. Carriageway = Way (road) for carriages, goes back to when horsepower had 4 legs. Hand signals used to be part of the driving test, along with reversing around a corner and parallel parking, the examiner told us where to go as Sat Navs did not exist, as they now form part of the test I wonder if one has never used one can the test still be taken? Last time I used one it sent me up the garden path, almost literally as ended up down a road that was closed to large vehicles. Had to reverse out after reaching the sign, almost a mile, absolute chaos ensued. Four miles along other country roads to reach the front gate of the Establishment, will stick to OS maps and road atlases/A-Z's from now on.

That was definitely a knife cut, but if the package had been opened by HMRC it would have had their tape on it which reads "Opened by Customs".

Glad you enjoyed the t-shirt! The Blue Captain Crunch ooze will always be remembered with laugh and smile for years to come...

Steve Mikre

๐Ÿ˜‚ fair!

Thanks Mark!

Loved the unboxing. .What a mess..Thanks for the vid .

I drive a BMW so obviously I failed. Indicators? Speed limits? Dipped lights? My only saving grace is I donโ€™t own it.

John Casey

Oh my god ๐Ÿ˜‚

Adventures and Naps

That's a good point!

Adventures and Naps

Not a bad score!

Adventures and Naps

You should stick the captain crunch bottle in between Davids teeth, with the blue gloop puking out of his mouth!

Jamie Smith

48 right. The question about someone driving to close to you was a tricky one. If you are already leaving a safe distance to the car in front, as you should do, then why would you slow down?

Arthur Gatward

I got 43 out of 50 but don't drive. I also have tohse steps they are great.

Paul Brown

๐Ÿ˜‚ True! Looks like something was trying to escape..

Thanks Stephen!!

The jumper survived to open another box another day! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Cheers Shaun!!

๐Ÿ˜‚ Postal Corner where I go - quite literally - postal lol

Adventures and Naps

Thanks Aaron! Having a license is so helpful, even if you don't have a car!

Adventures and Naps

๐Ÿ˜‚ thanks so much Gem!

Adventures and Naps

Well I got 3 more right than you. But that's because I couldn't find the option for "ram the cyclist off the road". Is it just me or did that bottle look more like it had been sliced than just "broken"? ๐Ÿค”

Mohegan13

Hi, Alanna, that was fun. I'm just relieved to say theory tests didn't exist when I passed we just got asked a few questions by the examiner at the end. T-shirt was great. Hopefully we will see more blue maple syrup soon.

Stephen Parker

Agree with others, that score is pretty good with no practice. Who goes round with stopping distance figures in their head? You were brave continuing inside with that leaking package! Hope you got your tax return completed, I hated the few occasions I had to do them.

Stuart Summers

I went to the website and tried the theory test but I ended up being given exactly the same set of questions as you, so its no surprise I got 50!! I spent the entire 'blue goo' part of your video on tenterhooks keeping my fingers crossed for your lovely jumper but I think you just about escaped - phew!

Malcolm Lawrence

Good effort on the test, especially for not having practised. Definitely quite a few tricky ones there where more than one answer seemed feasible. Think I got around 47 while watching along.

Shaun Garratt

Another great video, 38 is pretty god for a 1st try. So is "Postal Corner" where Alanna sits to quietly go mad.... ๐Ÿ˜‚ You are braver than me, I don't think I would've opened a random package oozing blue goo in the house... I'm amazed the jumper survived ๐Ÿ˜‚

Will

Youโ€™re not the worst one! I got 32 out of 50! Thank you for doing this! I learned things from you! Iโ€™ve been wanting to try get my license, I was learning it a few months ago but I stopped when all the family stuff started happening, I want to try start learning again tho! I really liked your YouTube video this week and I really liked this video too!

Aaron Conway

Imagine doing that test when youโ€™re 17! Lolโ€ฆ I had to do it twice cos my first one expired! Some of those questions seem a bit dated now thoโ€ฆ More great gifts, that tshirt ๐Ÿ˜‚ also you taking that parcel apart with gloves on reminds me of customs ๐Ÿ˜‚ Hope you have a great weekend
