October Book REVIEW - Dark, but not bad!
Added 2021-10-27 18:00:05 +0000 UTCThis month I read The Weight of Blood by Laura McHugh (you can buy it on Amazon here if you want!)
Like a lot of the books I read, I really had no idea what this was about. I never read the back cover of the book (if I can help it) and pick it based on someone else's recommendation.
I thought it was good! Not incredible, not life-changing, but it was a good book! And it was the authors debt novel, so that's cool! It was quite a bit darker than I originally thought but still. It was a quick, easy read with an interesting (although depressing/evil) plot!
Did anyone else read this one? What are your thoughts??

Debut lol oops. Yeah a "quick read" is a better description and you're totally right - so much was tied up in one paragraph I was like "wait, what?" Read it again. " Oh... okay then." lol

2021-10-27 22:02:51 +0000 UTCI thought this one was good. I'm not sure i'd say an "easy" read but was certainly quick, I think I finished it in the first week of the month. A very dark story and I felt the end was a bit rushed, like the 2 main story threads were wrapped up in a single paragraph.
