Do you like arty movies that leave you thinking "WTF??"

Recently I watched Come True... and I have some feelings. But I don't want to spoil it.

I will say - it's got a great atmosphere, really neat aesthetic and an interesting idea. But my god - HUH??? If that type of movie annoys you, better skip this one. But if you're willing to try an arty horror film, give it a shot!

Indeed, but there are very faint connections, and so Blue:White:Red makes a teensy bit more sense.

another vote for 'Three Colours. All standalone films.

You might like to try dark comedy (series) 'Nighty Night'. It's free on iplayer here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0074cd6/nighty-night-series-1-episode-1 review: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2014/nov/13/nighty-night-box-set-review-julia-davis Never seen it myself but have heard good things. -- edit: on the film track again, I assume you have seen '2001: A Space Odyssey'. Obviously also 'Mulholland Drive'

I watched this during the online Fantasia Film Festival last summer. I really liked the aesthetic and design of the look. The way they did the dreams was really cool and well done.

I lve arty films, but not horror. Sorry. But some films I'd recommend: Three Colors Blue / Three Colors White / Three Colours Red. Blue is my favourite, it is about "Skeletons in the Cupboard", but White is great if you want a film about sheer, terrible, cold-blooded revenge. "Cinema Paradiso"- ideally the long version. I dare you to watch the film, and then the ending without crying happy tears! "Smala Sussie" - huge fun! "ID:A" - a real "WTF? mystery" Finally "Fuck Up": A real humorous romp.
