I just moved to London from NZ, so spent last week packing and currently in self-isolation which I'm going a bit mad in. Also waiting to hear from flats I've sent offers for - trying not to focus on the things out of my control, but this video has definitely made me feel like someone else knows what I'm going through! Congrats on 100,000! Pretty sure I was asleep during the live :( Hope things have been sorted out now and you're feeling less stressed!

My niece and her kids have to be out of their house in Manitoba at the end of this month so they are moving back to Ontario. I drove half an hour last night to look at a house for her only for the agent to tell me the leasing agent had already leased it out and didn't bother to tell anyone about it, as there was another family who wanted to view it as well. In other news imagine my surprise when Mr. Briggs Hat showed up. I was told the shipment had gone missing and they had no other copies in stock. In fact, they refunded me the purchase price and Amazon UK says the order is still waiting to be delivered. They were supposed to include a note so I have no idea what happened there but very happy you received it and I hope you enjoy it.

When you no longer have an awful landlord and you and the butler are settled in a new place that you get to explore it will all be worth it. Thanks for the video especially given how stressed you must be and I hope you and your family stay healthy.

Done that, got the towels, not fun or good for one's pocket even in a cheap hotel. I've been in this house for 22 years and hope the next time I move I will be in a box and someone else can shift all my stuff. Best of luck, stay safe.

2021-05-08 10:43:07 +0000 UTCI believe a recent survey found moving house was rated more stressful than having a baby, starting a new job or getting married. We have to contemplate downsizing in the next year or two - not looking forward to it! Have you considered renting space in a Self-Storage unit for a month to help ease the actual move - especially if you can't get into the new place in time? We did that once. Also they can supply big packing boxes at reasonable rates. Hope it all goes well for you, and really don't worry about filming/streaming schedules - we'll still be here!.

Last time I moved it was only 5 doors down, with no big furniture, and a month overlap so I just carried everything down the street a few crates/book cases per night. Hope your move turns out OK in the end, you'll certainly deserve a good long nap.

2021-05-08 10:16:21 +0000 UTCI share your pain re moving! I'd been in my last place for over 40 years and had to get out and downsize! I went from a two bedroom maisonette to a one room studio flat. The good bit was I was moving to West Wickham which is where my parents lived and is the hub of my family so I had plenty of help. The bad bit was the timing! I moved 3 days before Lockdown 1,0 and had to leave the place as it was which pleased my landlord not! But what can you do? As it was, I'd thrown out 18 rubbish bags of clothes, mainly T shirts I'd bought as souvenirs of trips to the US and Canada (BC). Heartbreaking! In a month or so, this'll just be a memory. If it's too much, don't film the move but you could reconstruct it afterwards. Treat it as a murder mystery!

I have lived in about 30 different houses and each time i move i treat it as a chance to de-clutter and it always feels so good to do that, it counteracts the stress. Awesome news on the 100,000, well deserved. You were the first channel i subscribed to, when you were at about 20,000 i think, and you are still the only channel i am a patron of. Good luck with the rest of your move, i hope it goes smoother from here on in.
