March Book Club - OOPS!
Added 2021-03-31 18:00:04 +0000 UTCThis month I've been reading "The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared" but I haven't finished it yet! I think I'm going to continue this one into April and should finish it then.
It's been good! And the book is really witty with lots of dead-pan humour, but I haven't been gripped by the story as much as other books over the last year. I'm not rushing to pick it up again, so it's been a bit slow going. Planning on finishing it soon-ish, though!
Did you guys read/finish this book? Thoughts??

Forest Gump, that's such a good point! I'm almost finished it now, will report back.

2021-04-03 07:18:46 +0000 UTCI enjoyed it overall but I agree the story was just a little bit meh. I do wonder if anything was lost in the translation into English. I also found Alan's back story somewhat reminiscent of Forest Gump, the way he was on the periphery of global events. A fun book though.
