I loved it!

While The Dig can be a bit slow, I really enjoyed this movie! I thought Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan were both wonderful and the story was really interesting!! Plus you get some beautiful shots of the English countryside.

You should still be able to catch this on Netflix UK :) Has anyone else watched it?

I loved it!

When I first heard about this I thought it was going to be based on the old video game πŸ˜‚

The Raven

Had it not been for your recommendation I would never have seen it. It was a beautiful story, great writing and acting. Thanks

what it showed to me was that in the old days, lots of 'working class' people were as bright as anyone but could never rise from 'their place'. I expect the whole thing about Lily James' character was fabricated as a subplot. You could watch Lily James films all day on Netflix! I'll always love Carey Mulligan for being in the best ever episode of Doctor Who: 'Blink'. Fortunately, it's here for free on iplayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0074gpl/doctor-who-series-3-10-blink (Series 3, Episode 10 if you want to find it through some other service)

We watched it a couple of months back . The ending is good ..The guy was recognised ..Great film. .

A great film. If you like lovely shots of the English countryside then watch Detectorists. Wandering through fields, hilarious situations then a pint in the pub. And not too many story arcs getting in the way. Perfect.

Russell Hart

I’ve had this pencilled in to see for a while, so I’ll watch it tonight whilst it’s still on Netflix! Looks very well produced, with great actors in the leading roles, and lovely views of the English countryside!

Watched it abs loved it. I'd been waiting for it for about 2 months. Its all the things i love in a film: England, period piece, gentle story, history, great acting.
