Patreon Only - Behind the Scenes of "British Village"

Hey guys!

I thought you might be interested in seeing the clips and footage that we shot when filming "How Can you Tell When You're In a British Village"! Since a YT #short can only be 60 seconds or less, there's a lot of footage that gets deleted and never seen again!

Hope you enjoy!

A great video, I know the place well but you broke my heart Alanna, my daughter, son-in-law ,grandson and the young girl that stole my heart, that devilish angle, my beloved granddaughter, all live in Kent and I am stuck here in Wales. I hope to hug them all soon and return to the garden of England, that place called Kent, where my English rose grows. What times we all live in.

Dedham is great, plus it has Flatford Mill where Constable painted The Haywain amongst others paintings. It's definitely worth a visit.

Amazing footage for sure. You should save it to use as b-roll for some future video

Super pretty!!

I don't think YT collects videos that don't match their specifications - unless they change the rules to allow landscape vids. Basically it's YTs version of TIkTok

Never heard of Dedham before but I'll add it to the list!

Directors Cut, incredible!

I have been to Cobham once on a walk with a Ramblers group once...such a lovely little village

I've noticed some people putting #shorts on short videos in landscape. just fyi.

This is a great idea Alanna, and one that could easily become a series for us Patreoners (assuming you think it's a goer from your perspective of course!) as the "shorts" continue.

Malcolm Lawrence

Great to see extra scenes. Have to love a village that has 20 houses, 2 post boxes and 3 pubs :)

I'm sure I've often seen an Essex village named England's prettiest but now I do a Google search and no one says so! On research the place I'm talking about is... Dedham.

Alanna, This was a great idea! It's A&N "How You Can Tell Your In A British Village" Director's Cut...

Steve Mikre

The clip of the pathway with the tree branches is so pretty!

Martin's right!

I think that's a requirement for YouTube shorts - basically YouTube wants the shorts to be in portrait / vertical and no longer than 60 seconds.

Martin Dobler

How did you decide to use the vertical format? It seems at odds with the viewing screen shape and size.
