I get that it's supposed to be a "black comedy" but it's about a woman who exploits and abuses vulnerable people and has very little comedy about it. It felt so strange. At one point we were going to turn it off, but I felt like I might as well finish it.
I understand what they were trying to do, but I didn't like it! I felt like it missed the mark on being a black comedy, and it certainly wasn't a drama or thriller - it just felt gross. /endrant

I thought Rosamund's acting was great but hated the rest of it - although I hated her character, too. There wasn't a single character that you end up rooting for!

2021-03-05 14:41:46 +0000 UTCCan't understand why it was nominated as a comedy, they is a few funny bits but more a crime/drama genre. I thought Rosamund did a great job although Peter seemed to walk through his part. I wonder if they made it to highlight the systemic problems in this area.
