January Book Club REVIEW!

While it wasn't the most groundbreaking book I've ever read (maybe my standards are high now that I've read so many good books last year) but it was still a decent read!
A few of the twists I saw coming from miles away, but a few of them really surprised me! Basically it's your typical murder mystery - everyone visits an island for a wedding and someone ends up dead. Who dun it???
Once I started getting close to the end, I finished it really quickly. It was hard to put down until everything is revealed! I'd say maybe 3.5/5 for me!
Did anyone else read it this month (or have already read it?) Let me know your thoughts!

I agree it's a fairly nuts and bolts murder mystery but I really liked it. I thought the characters were really engaging and the setting was interesting.

2021-01-31 10:15:17 +0000 UTCJust finished this a few minutes ago. I found it quite hard to get into at first but definitely got better. The last third of the book was a hell of a rollercoaster and read through the end pretty quickly. I do feel like a lot of it was rushed towards the end though, but still decent. Agree with you on the 3.5.
