Just ordered a crate of Westons low alcohol, I'll let you what I think Sunday. I love cider but not getting drunk.

For cider you can't beat the local farm produced kind, and it's easily available this time of year. I like rhubarb itself but can't imagine combining the flavor with anything else. Now ginger ale- that's another story. I think Canada Dry is pretty awful- too sweet. Schweppes is a good standard brand, but the best I've tried is Blenheim. It's made in South Carolina, USA, so it will be difficult to find. It is really gingery, in a good way!

None whatsoever! I realised afterwards that my stomach felt a bit weird from the sugar, rather than from the alcohol. Will definitely be getting more of these in the future!

I probably would have preferred anything else other than ginger to be paired with rhubarb lol

Rhubarb and ginger is a combo I don't think I have ever experienced before. Strawberry and rhubarb yes and it is delish.

that's the surprise/reaction factor that made this an idea. The non/low-alcohol drinks are so good now and close to the real thing. It's quite a shock to try one.

Well as they say, you do have to suffer for great art. Any hangover after these?

I’m usually pretty good at doing that but it’s been a struggle just lately lol... Don’t worry, after an argument & a lecture me & my dad got it going again

With nowhere to go in lockdown it's important not to let your car sit idle for too long. Every couple of weeks I give mine a ~20 minute run up and down the motorway. (I speak from experience... new battery needed after last year's lockdown)

I think it's getting more popular, hopefully pubs will have more of this stuff (whenever they may open...)

I've been cutting down on alcohol because it keeps me awake at night. Both Stowford Press and Kopparberg low alcohol ciders are eminently drinkable.

Haven’t had low alcohol cider in a few years, never really liked it but it’d be interesting to see if it’s got better.
Hope you’re doing ok, the other day I put jeans on for the 1st time in months, felt like a win, then my car wouldn’t start 🤦🏼♀️ Keep smiling! 😬

I hate ginger and I hate rhubarb too, so that one ought to be THE worst ever... but maybe not in view of your reaction so definitely worth a try. I used to stay clear of low alcohol drinks but either the standard is improving or my taste buds are shot because they seem a lot better these days. Another interesting review Alanna and I loved the ambient music while you were thinking - nice touch!
But is it snowing in Kent?

Oh, that's interesting - I don't think I was even aware low alcohol cider existed. I wonder how many pubs stock it as it would be a great option when you're the nominated driver (I hate low alcohol beer/lager),
Thanks for the video Alanna, hang on in there!
