We always have Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas day it's more of a lazy ' I can't move' kind of a day where we just open presents and have a buffet from whatever we have bought from Iceland and the turkey leftovers lol. Hope you and everybody else had a great Christmas to round off the terrible year. My New Years resolution is to stop swearing so I am trying soooo hard after the year we've had! Any tips haha.

2020-12-27 12:03:04 +0000 UTCI love pigs in blankets, I always get loads of them. For christmas dinner and often for regular roast dinners I'll do mashed potatoes and roast potatoes. Christmas dinner always has honey roast parsnips, ham and turkey, Yorkshire pudding, turkey gravy and turkey gravy with cranberry sauce in, carrot & swede mash and roasted chantanay carrots which were par boiled in orange juice prior to roasting. I had a Chinese on christmas eve.

Your chocolate brussels sprouts sound wonderful - only in England would someone think of that! And you're not alone in needing cranberry sauce occasionally.

Iβm looking forward to seeing your opinion about these foods after you eat them, I didnβt have dessert yesterday, not my thing I am debating whether to disown my Niece who sent a message to me that her favourite chocolate was the pink fudge quality street, it was traumatic. Thanks for continuing to make videos during this extremely trying year, I realise itβs got to be a nightmare finding ideas but even when you are struggling in life you always give us something to look forward to on video.

Last year broke me of even trying to do a full on Christmas for one, as I spent it in a cottage in the woods in Snowdonia and had to carry a week's worth of food the last couple of miles (along with clothes and hiking gear). This year has been similarly minimal. Looking forward to seeing your hiking videos in the new year - how long does your new camera record for?

Couple of thoughts - 1) top choice in getting all your Christmas essentials from M&S, where else? and 2) I'm totally with you on useless Fridge sizes, although to be fair in my case I'd also need a bigger kitchen to fit a bigger fridge/freezer inside!!

Stuffing and sausages One year we couldn't fit the Turkey in the fridge, but it was cold so decided to leave it outside in the garden. Foxes found it and destroyed it. But I had bought much extra stuff we barely noticed Interested to get your review on Stuffing balls and sausage rolls. I wasn't too impressed with the best ever, the meat and pastry were both nice but the ratio was wrong
