Cheers to Dads!
Added 2020-07-25 08:01:00 +0000 UTCYou might have seen on my social media that my Dad died this week. I'm heartbroken, but I'm so lucky to have had such a wonderful father in my life - even for a short while.
As you probably guessed, there won't be a Patreon video today nor a Youtube video on Tuesday. I just don't feel quite in the right headspace for that right now.
However, Dad was one of my biggest A+N supporters and he would be really disappointed if I quit now - so I'll be back!! Just not this week.
I wanted to thank everyone for such kind words, comments and messages - I know we're all strangers on the internet but it really has helped make this awful time a bit brighter.
As for this photo... My parents and I went to Cleveland, Ohio (exciting, I know) basically just to see the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame (it's incredible, please go if you're able). We also found this submarine that you could explore and naturally, Dad and I had to take pictures all over it pretending to be sailors and touching all the props. He was a great Dad.

Despite everything else’s going on in the world, you were home instead of England. It can be a small but significant comfort. 2020-07-25 08:42:21 +0000 UTCIm really sorry for your loss, it seems like you and your Dad were super close and I know the sense of loss, as my Dad died when I was 14, we were very close too, its one of those things that you'll never get over it, but everyday becomes a little easier to handle it and you also have all those brilliant memories to cherish, like the one in Ohio etc.... Were all thinking of you and take as much time as you need to be ready to post videos again!

I know what it's like to lose a parent so have a pretty good idea of how you're feeling. There is no right and wrong way to grieve you must do what suits you. Your dad loved you and was one of your greatest fans so as time goes by as the hurt and desolation eases remember the last thing your dad would want is for you to be sad and miserable so in time think of your dad and be happy. Remember it's fine to cry. I cried. Thinking of you and your family and big Cyber hugs.
