Oh lord

I had seen Here Alone on my Netflix homepage loads of times (plus it had a cool thumbnail) so I gave it a shot without researching it beforehand.

Oof. Yikes. Yawn.

It's a promising story of a zombie epidemic but honestly, it looks like my friends in high school made it. Plus it's so boring. How can a zombie movie be boring?? Somehow, this is.

Anyone else give this a shot? I feel you.

Wow, a year in Wisconsin, that's quite an adventure!! Glad to hear the postcard got to you OK. I'm hoping my visa is sorted before I get stuck in a Canadian winter... they're so rough.. Glad to hear you're wearing a mask - we're all masking here, too. Stay safe out there!!

Shit...hit the wrong button. I was saying I may be headed to Wisconsin next month. There's some federal emergency there flooding I think. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is assisting and I'm a FEMA consultant so I may be sent there. Sounds interesting but I'll be there for a year (8 weeks on 3-4 weeks off). Winters suck compared to my home (75 degrees in January is really hard to take ya know). Naturally, Americans couldn't wait to group and stop wearing masks so CoVid cases are spiking :-( . I've never stopped masking and I carry disinfectant in my pocket using it whenever I touch anything. I don't cinsider myself anal retentative but I haven't been sick in 20 years and I don't want to end my struck with a nasty virus. You take care kiddo. And I hope you have a lovely summer. Thanks for writing again!

Greetings friend from Kent/Ontario! Thanks for the post card. Yes, it's 'punny' and funny, and cute! I'm glad you're doing well (sound bored but hey, you're well!!). I may be headed to WisbBrrrr.... I can't stand zombie films but then the only horror films outside of the classic Universal Studios flicks from the 30s and 40s (and Hammer Studios The Horror of Dracula), i like Sam Rami's The Evil Dead triology. Horror just doesn't work for me. I saw Abbott and Costello Meet the Wolfman and it gave me nightmares. I saw Godzilla (the original) when I was 10 and it gave me nightmares. No more nightmares about monsters. I have nightmares about plane crashes and building collapses and falling elevators lol.
