Some love it, some hate it! Marmite of the video-game world

If you catch me on Twitch on Sundays, you probably know that I recently played (and finished) the Last of Us!

It was my first time playing it and all I knew about the game was zombies. And long cut-scenes. But overall, I really enjoyed it! I can totally see why some people (aka a lot of people) didn't like it. There's no creativity to explore or make your own decisions within the story. The game very much tells you what to do and where to go, but sometimes that's nice!

If you're looking for a game to play and don't mind a story-heavy game, I would recommend it!  Plus, the Last of Us II is coming out soon, so it would be a great time to play the first one now!

Any lovers or haters of LoU out there??

Not sure i agree with you that this game is Marmite, because its still in the top 5 best selling Ps4 games (10million sales). Glad you enjoyed it though. I thought, for the time, it was a stunning game, but has aged a bit. LOUII has already been a bit divisive in the media but i think it’ll be a great game overall. 😎cant wait! 🀩

I loved it. Definitely in my Top 5. Definitely a game that defines how computer games can uniquely tell a story. But, I did see an excellent YouTube which compared the father/daughter relationship in it with the father/daughter relationship in Witcher III, and how the one in Witcher III was so much more positive, and I can't disagree with that.

I think so! Was a lot of fun to stream so would be fun to continue with the story!

I think you could probably buy it in the "British" section of a grocery store!

I enjoyed watching you play it on twitch Alanna. Are you going to get the sequel at some point?

Hi, Alanna, seeing your title mentioned Marmite made me think, is it available in Canada? Surely not just a thing here.
